Is this a mistake in the 2017 Greyhawk manual?

Regarding the leveling system, on page 45 there is this:

[B]Note:[B] Motor home should be leveled prior to extending slide out rooms. Raise the jacks before retracting the slide out rooms.

That the rig should be level before extending the slides makes perfect sense. But why would you raise the jacks, and thus make the rig off level, to retract the slides? I would think that level in both instances would be correct.

Our 2014 Greyhawk manual says the RV should be level before extending the slideout. It doesn't say anything about being level when retracting it, but it makes perfect sense to do so.

When setting up I always level first, then extend the slideout. When retracting, I do so before pulling up the Bigfoot levelers.

Gotta be a typo in the manual. Only operate the slides when the unit is level.
