Ladder Screws Pulled Loose

I discovered that one support pad for the rear ladder had the screws pulled loose.

They spin freely.

I don't think they are into an aluminum tube, but rather only into the basic wall structure. It is the outside, middle support pad.

I am thinking either larger diameter screws, or tri-expanding (exploding) pop rivets.

What is recommended fix / procedure?

Kind Regards,
DNM

Contact Jayco motorized CS with your VIN and they will provde a schematic that should show how the ladder is mounted.

If you change the fastener remember to seal it.

There is supposed to be/should be a backer of some kind that the support screws anchor to, or into a stud, and not just screwed into the wall.
As was posted, contact Jayco with your rig's info and they should be able to provide you info or a schematic of the ladder attachment.
If the screw has pulled out, they may have "missed" the stud or backer when attaching the ladder.

Update: I contacted Jayco, and indeed, they kindly supplied me with a diagram of the rear wall. It did have plywood inserts for the ladder mounts. Unfortunately, the support pad location was such that it did not mate with the plywood. I enlarged the holes to 1/2" dia, and filled them with Elmers putty-like "damaged wood" epoxy. Drilled and mounted the pad onto that, and it has worked flawlessly.
