Mileage

We are going to pickup our Jayco Melbourne next week and take in a 15 day trip. Just curious what kind of milage can we expect on the flats driving at 55 miles an hour if anyone still drives at 55 mph.

mpg

On the last trip we took, over two passes and 900 miles averaged 8.4 mpg going 58 mph on the flats towing.

Thanks for the info. We are taking delivery on ours next week, we were hoping for about 32 mpg (in a dream).

The "happy Spot" on our unit is around 58 MPH, and we get between 9 and 10 MPG. Of course it depends on terrain, winds, etc. We get a bit better mileage and a bit more power when we can fill up with ethanol free fuel... wish they would get rid of the ethanol!

I tend to drive 58-60 mph. Our Greyhawk when loaded gets 8-9 mpg depending on wind direction and speed.

2012 Greyhawk, 7-8 @ 55mph. Towing 4,100# toad. Mileage varies with wind conditions and terrain.
