Onan 4000 Fuel Pump

The Onan generator on our 2017 Redhawk would make a lot of "knocking/clicking" sounds when the temps were in the mid to upper 90's and on occasion stop running. It also took several times to "prime" it before it would start. After some research I decided to replace the fuel pump with an after market Airtex unit. This pump was a HUGE improvement. It now starts much easier and never made a noise or stopped in nearly 7 hours of running in upper 90 degrees temps.
