Oops... Luckily nothing terribly major...

Okay so we drug the rear end pretty good getting into a gas station where I misjudged the angle. Our back rack originally looked to be all that drug but upon further inspection, I discovered that I messed up the trailer wiring port pretty good. Does anyone happen to know part/model number so I can get one ordered to replace the damaged one?

Thanks,
Jeff

Personally I would not replace it. It has a minor scratch that can only be seen looking up from the pavement.

If you replace it, you will break the oem wire connections, which introduces a potential moisture/corrosion issue

On My 2016 31DS the unit is a plug and play.
Unlatch from rear of harness and replace.
I have done that once and have already damaged the
new one on driveway.
I plan on putting a guard onder the hitch plug somehow.

It starts from a poor placement by Jayco.
I have dragged ours also, and it still works.
When I need to repair it, I will change the routing of the wires to it and its location to get it up and away from the bottom of the hitch assembly.

I will make a bracket to mount it on top of the bumper or hitch assembly that gets mounted with U-bolts.

As long as it still works, I would not mess with it.

Hard to tell but it almost looks like in the picture the case is split in the back or was ground down so much it exposed the inside. If that is the case then I’d replace it, otherwise if it’s just cosmetic scratches no one will ever see, why bother.
