Rebalance after install of Tireminders?

I have a 2016 Jayco Class C 29mv MH. I want to install a TireMinder system on my valve stems. I was advised by local large truck tire company that Tireminders throw tire balances off and stress the valve stems.
Anyone have this problem or heard this before? And any recommendations which system is best for my MH?

Thanks,

We have these sensors on our trailer tires too... They work just fine, did not affect the balance either.

Try them out...

I'd put them on and see if you get any vibration. If you do, take them off and see if it goes away. If it does they've thrown your tire out of balance. Just as a point of reference wheel balancing weights come in 1/4 oz increments so use that as a guide. Weigh them on a postal or other light scale if you can. Also I have seen other tire monitoring systems that recommend metal valve stems which seems reasonable. Good luck

According to their website the sensors weight 0.5 oz so it just might require a rebalance. The sensors are not as close to the circumference of the rim so they may not have as much impact on wheel balancing as wheel balance weights.

I have never heard of a re-balance needed but if your valves are rubber you will need all steel valves.

Not sure these are used in our units or not. But friend just replaced all his 22.5 tires on alumimum rims. They used beads that self balance. I dont see balance bars on my rims so maybe these beads are used.

I have them on my 29MV and on my golf cart trailer. Have not had any problems in about 5K miles
