roof treatment

2008 melborne,
was on the roof today, and it looks like a vinyl top, like on older cars,
I have no problems (now)
is there a treatment/ sealer to apply to the roof to help it live longer?

not seeking a rubber coating , like paint. elastomeric , etc
just something to help it live longer

thx

I use a product that comes in two bottles, the first is a "cleaner-conditioner." The second, a "protectant." The brand is Pro-Tec. Certainly, other products serve the same purpose.
We have a 2017 Melbourne. I used the Pro-Tec for the first time a few months ago. Should have been doing it annually or even more often.
It's an easy task. It requires mixing each solution separately with water, then using a brush on a handle to slop it around on the roof. Instructions on the bottles describe the process.
To get on the roof, I moved the RV to within a few inches of the roof of the house; used a ladder to get onto the roof; then stepped from the roof of the house to the roof of the RV. The only issue is that step No. 2 makes the roof slick, so moving around is spooky...
