RVI3 Brake System Add Ons

Hello
For you folks that have the RVI3 brake system. Did any of you not purchase what they call the control board or message center that's available with it? Can I do with out it or recommend highly on getting it? Not sure if there is an app you can use on your own tablet?Thanks.

I have used mine without the command center and it works fine. But being able to see that it is doing its thing makes the tablet and hub worth it for me. I also have the Rvi charger and the tablet monitors that also. Nice product, easy to install, light weight.

I have used mine at times without the tablet on. The brakes still work fine.

However, I also like monitoring all of my systems. I have the TPMS, the charger, and the brakes. I especially like testing the brakes now and then when at minimum speed, and always when getting underway, to get the positive feedback from the brakes that all is well.

I guess I may be different, but I never move my 29MV and toad without the tablet turned on and monitoring the brake system, battery, and TPMS. I want to know at all times that everything is working and working correctly. I didn't get the TPMS when I bought the brake system, but now I won't drive without it on and monitoring all 10 tires.
