Seneca with Residential Refrigerator

When driving down the road in a Seneca with a residential refrigerator can you power the refrigerator all day off the inverter and still keep your batteries fully charged or must you run your generator to power the refrigerator?

Your engine will be charging the batteries while you drive down the road. In hot weather we run the generator as the air conditioner is needed to keep the unit comfortable.

We ordered our fridge yesterday. I'm hopping to find a way to run our inverter while driving. I believe there is an interlock which shuts off our inverter with the motor running.

When were driving in hot weather with just two people we close off the cab with the curtain and pull the mattress out to cover the top.

I had not heard of the inverter/motor running interlock.

But there is a relay which turns off the power to the front TV when the motor is running. If anything else is running on the inverter, it should still be running.

What size is the inverter?

The inverter functions while driving but only some of the 110v outlets are wired to be hot to prevent overloading the inverter. There is a relay to shut off the power to the tv but the microwave can still be used.
I believe the wiring can be modified without a major issue to create a hot inverter outlet for a refrig. but I have not done a in depth investigation.

I have a question...
When driving down the road, and also have the generator running, both the converter (powered by the generator) and the engine alternator are trying to charge both the chassis and the house batteries, since while the engine is running the house battery isolation solenoid is energized and all the batteries are tied together. Is this accurate?

Is there any concern or possible problem which may arise from two separate systems tied together and trying to charge all the batteries?

If you're running the generator, would it be a better scenario to defeat the battery isolation solenoid and allow the chassis battery to be charged by the engine and the house batteries to be charged by the converter??
