Surround sound

I have a 2005 Jayco granite ridge 31ss class C RV. It has the entertainment center above the driver and passenger seats. When I bought it the tv or DVD player wasn’t hooked up nor were the surround sound speakers. The speaker wires aren’t hooked up to anything. I know they have to be hooked up to a receiver to work but there is no receiver behind the tv. Does anyone know what type of receiver I should buy or what type they used from the factory when this RV was built?
Thanks.

The previous owners likely either took it our or did not replace it when it went bad.

The receiver/dvd player that came in Granite ridge is Executive brand, nothing special, but if you can find one they do sound pretty good. Any slimline receiver should work just fine.
Are the speaker wires labeled?

No they are not labeled. There is a DVD player in it but there is no where to hook up the speaker wires. Thanks for the information.

There should be speaker wire inputs for the surround sound in the back of the DVD player. Pull the DVD player completely out and there should be 10 quick connects for 5 speakers. I think they are also labeled front and rear right and left + & - or red and black color coded. It will make a mess and make it hard to put the DVD player back into the opening so use zip ties to help manage the mess.
