I opened the slides up today since it is finally above freezing. While it was open I played with the backup camera and put the key in accessory. When I went to close the slides. The button would not work. Oh .... I broke it due to the cold., then I remembered the key. Same thing happens with the jacks and awning, always takes me a second or two to figure out what I did wrong this time. Glad there are safety devices to protect me from myself but do they have to remind me I am getting forgetful.

It's probably a good thing for those safety devices.
A few years back, maybe 4-5, I saw a class A, cruising down the right lane on a 4 lane hiway, with a left side, slideout fully extended. I figured it must have broke, but I would have been in the left lane.
There is so much to remember with this trucks, and so much that you can break so easily that would be so expensive to repair. You really do need checklists for many things.
