Towing jeep

I have a 2013 Jayco 26xs. I want to flat tow a 2016 Jeep Wrangler 4 door, 4400 lbs. the factory installed hitch receiver rated at 5000 lbs. thinking of upgrading hitch to 7500. Any one have experience or recommendations . Thank you in advance.

Here is a start. Try Google. There are more there that I did not pickup to repost. Also the search bar at the top of this page may be of help.

Joe -

We have a Precept 31UL with the same 5000 lb. tow rating, towing a 2018 Wrangler 4 door. No problems with towing - completed a Tennessee to Yellowstone and back just a couple months ago.

“Google it” or “use the search bar” comes across very condescending. I would think that in most cases if someone is computer literate enough to post on an online forum they are aware of how to search the internet. Have you ever though that maybe they have searched and they’re looking for up to date information and responses directly to their question? Maybe you should just not respond if all you do is tell people to use a search bar…it’s not productive or helpful.

As MRichaud said you should not have any problems using the existing hitch. Personally I would just hook up and go.
