TV over the bunk

How do I get the TV over the front bunk to work while driving? My granddaughter must watch TV while we are traveling. Thanks

If you have an onboard genny, run that while travelling. Or pick up one of the 12vdc televisions made by Jensen.

As the risk of sounding like a jerk, but also being a parent; I have faced the issue of a long road trip with the kids. Even while having a TT, the kids have asked repeatedly if they could ride in the trailer. I have explained several times why they cannot.
My kids wanted me to purchase the seat back mounted DVD system so they could watch movies while on these trips. I said no! Believe me, its not that I cannot afford it. I am a parent, and I refuse to get them everything they want. I made them a deal, I set out a list of 'jobs' they could do above and beyond the normal chores, and they could work into a credit system and when they had earned enough I would buy the player. Guess what, I still don't have a player, the kids are happy and found other ways to entertain themselves while traveling. Apologies, if I come off to strong.

Depending on how old your motor home is, your problem is likely a solenoid which prevents the TV from working while the ignition is on. It is pretty easy to get around this, basically just cutting a wire on the back of the outlet. Search this forum for detailed instructions.
