What's that noise

My 02 was making a high pitch noise today. Nothing worked on 12 v. that meant the aux batt was low. After doing some searching, I discovered if I plug in 110 v power, the noise goes away. So I guess the noise was a indication the aux. battery was low. Where is the alarm located, can it be silenced? After a day charging the noise is off for now. Thanks, stan

Sounds like it could be the carbon monoxide detector.

The carbon monoxide detector in my camper is powered with a 9V battery, like a smoke detector.
BUT . . . the LP alarm/detector is hard wired into the 12V system and does "chirp" when there is low battery power. So, do you have one? Might be it.
They are usually located low near the floor since LP gas is heavier than air.
