Windshield Cover

Inside or outside? Which is easier to install and store?

I have an outside....it takes moments to put on...and take off.

Hint: for the pocket that slips over the top of the door corner, on the inside of the cover with a Sharpe I wrote PS for passenger side ad DS for driver side.

I prefer the outside cover as it keep the RV cooler on hot summer days and keeps the windshield clean. Also, the outside one provides for more privacy (imo) and allows me to adjust the radio easier.

On the other hand, I like the inside one when I am stopping for short times or when it is raining. It works well enough and doesn't require me to go outside in inclement weather, so for convenience I like the inside cover.

So... I have both and always use one or the other, they both store very easily. ~CA

I have both. The heavy white shaped front windshield coverage with tiedowns and a reflective sunscreen inside to reflect some of the heat back out. It helps keep it cooler inside.

Outside. The one I have also has bug screens behind flaps so I can keep the front windows open for more ventilation.

We picked up a set of these and love them for our 2016 Greyhawk 31FK:

We had the regular outside around the cab cover, but it was a pain taking down and storing (wet from dew/rain and dirty cause we are avid dirt track fans). I also think this helps reflect some heat out of the cab and inside. Easy to pop in and pop off. They are pricey, but I don’t foresee ever needing to replace as compared to an external one that might need replaced due to weather.

Agree with others. Have inside heat reflective that use most of time as just easy and dry. If going to be somewhere for few days will use the outside one as little better privacy.

We have the HeatShield (heatshieldstore.com) for front and side windows.
It is easy to install, stays clean, and good privacy.
Previously, we had the white outside cover, but it seemed to be a dirt magnet. Also had to make sure it was dry before storing. There was also the concern that someone on the outside could lift it up and peek inside the coach.

I also removed the rear view mirror from the mirror mount so I could use the front heatshield screen that does not have the cutout for the mirror.
