Congratulations - looks great. How long did it take from the date of order to the arrival at the dealer?

The trailer was on order for dealer stock. We put a deposit on it and made a few changes (added options) on March 29th. So, just about 7 weeks for us. We were fortunate.

The dealer that had the one we looked at initially (at a camper show) also had some on order in the run with ours, but they were all sold too. A new order at that time could not be promised before July.

That's what I'm afraid of. We ordered an Eagle 321RSTS on April 2 and were given the standard "8 to 10 weeks" for delivery. I've got my fingers crossed but it appears to be a busy year at the factory.

@Dave - according to our dealer, yes, the factory is very busy. Form what I have been told by several dealers for a number of manufacturers, RV's are basically batch built. There will be a run of your model built at a given point in time (depending on demand for that model) and for a number of days that is all that line will build. After that they switch and build another model. It could be a number of weeks or months before they come back to that particular model.

This was taken during the install (note the lack of bolts in the rails).

I will get some more tomorrow if it doesn't rain here.

Any idea what your hitch weighs? Something you can toss in the truck on your own?

Toss is a relative term. Amazon list the shipping weight as 220 pounds. That is the slider assembly and the head (the head is removable separately). I am currently laid up with an elbow injury so, I haven't tried to take it out yet. I think it might be manageable to get it out of the rails and slide it to the tailgate solo with the head removed. Lifting it out of the truck and lowering it to the ground is probably going to be a two person job. Alternatively, my plan is to use my hydraulic engine crane and "pick" the hitch out of the back of the truck and set it on a (yet to be built or procured) wheeled dolly for portability.
