2021 310 RLTS / F350 Compatible?

I'm thinking about purchasing a 2019 F350 SRW to tow my 2021 310 RLTS Northpoint. I am concerned with possibly having a height issues.(Bed rails and Overall height) I currently tow with a F250 using a Pullrite Super glide. So far I like this hitch and plan to transfer it to the F350. I have read where several owners have lowered their trucks, or raised their camper. Im not wanting to do either. I'm looking for some real life experience and numbers to help me make my decision. Sorry if this had been discussed already but looking for some up to date information on this. I don't want to spend a lot of money on a truck only to find out that I have to make major modifications. Thanks for any help you can give.

I think the height is fine as long as the TV hasn't been altered. We looked at the same FW and I have a 2013 F350 SRW and it would be heavy on my truck with it's 2500 + pin weight. Check your placard on the door to find the payload cap. If in doubt, CAT scale it. I did last night and weighed in at 8240lb. with a full tank. My GVWR is 11,500lbs. My placard says 3074lbs. payload cap. As you can see, those figures conflict one another. I would never bet my life on the placard. Always weigh. As far as height issues, the B&W Companion as well as others offer height adjustments.

My parents have a 2019 F350 SRW truck with a Keystone Cougar 333MKS and they don't have any issues. The clearance is about 6" between the rails and the 5th wheel. The truck and RV are level, not riding nose high.

I have no issues with height with my 2020 Pinnacle 32RLTS and my 2020 F350.

I am using a 2017 F350 SCAB, SRW, 6.7 to pull a 2018 Pinnacle 38FLWS with a Demco auto slide hitch set in the middle height position and I have no problems with clearance

I had a 2019 F350 CC SB SRW with the Demco Autoslide set in the lower position with no clearance issues.

pdate: I purchased the F350 and was able to hitch it up to the 5th wheel and tow it. Everything is perfect. I have at least 6" of clearance between the bed rails and camper and the truck dropped about 3" and is sitting level. I feel so much better now that I increased my payload with the F350. Any bigger rig than I have I would definitly recommend a dually. I also think that dealers should sit down with new customers and explain everything from towing capabilities to truck payloads. It would have saved me a lot of stressing. Looking forward to some upcoming camping trips. Thanks everyone for the real life advise.

Unfortunately, many dealers/salespeople don’t even know all the features of their products let alone the first thing about payload and towing capacity. Also, many of them sadly, are not going to have you walk on a deal by telling you you need more truck. Sure, you’re F150 is plenty of truck....
