29.5 Trim Help

Many thanks to all who post their mods to this model, my 'to-do' list is continuously growing :-). While out working in the camper I noticed the vertical carpeted area below the wardrobe slide looked slightly off. The furthest left corner (nearest the shower) has about an inch of play to it, almost as if screws or something have come out. I can't seem to find where a screw was used though, so I am not sure if this is how it is attached. But, is this something I can screw back in place, looks like it is going to need a 2"+ screw, not sure if this is the right fix. Any thoughts you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hopefully this shows the area clearly. Pushing on the bottom left corner of that vertical carpeted area there is quite a bit of play, just trying to hear from others if this is normal or do I need to look into re-securing the trim. Thanks

Is this an access panel covering something ? If not probably was just stapled into place.. Get a trim head screw and you may be able to hide it in the nap.

Wags - Its not an access panel that I can tell, a long screw is likely the route I will go.

spepi - I really appreciate it, thank you.

If it is just loose carpet, why not a staple gun, like they do with wall to wall in a house?

I looked at mine. I can actually put my fingers behind it, and pull on it a bit, but I don't think I would fasten it down. For all you mentioning staples. Its not carpet, its the actual build of the bottom carpet structure, If i am looking at this the same way as ShaneO. It doesn't seem like an access area. Its just aesthetics. I would just leave as is. The rule of thumb is, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
