321RSTS Tank vent odor

I’ve noticed whenever my roof vent in the bathroom is open, I get an odd smell. Not a pleasant odor, but also not overpowering. When I close the vent it goes away. My tank vent is right by the roof vent. Is there a chance odor is coming from there into the roof vent. If so, what can I do about. Alter the roof vent in anyway?

Answer with humor: Park the rig with the bath vent upwind all the time.

Answer with spending your money: If your rig doesn't have a Fantastic-style bath fan, a Heng's, or similar, installing one, and leaving it on would keep the fumes from entering. I can't think of a viable way to alter the tank vent that would be 100% effective all the time. perhaps someone else has had the same experience, and will share a fix.

A fantastic fan is definitely on my to do list. Actually is has been for some time. I’m just dreading scraping the old dicor away. Terrified of tearing the roof.

The first idea, all though humorous may be my best bet.

I have the Maxaair Deluxe fan with remote control, it was the best mod I did next to installing my StrongArm.

But now don't that vent suppose to take the air out?
