7 pin cable issue

Good afternoon,

Helped my dad get their 2009 Designer out of storage and brought home so they can get it ready to head to a Big Bend NP for the winter where they volunteer. On the way to house the trailer cable sagged enough to rub on the road and cause two of the wires to separate. I tried searching for where it connects in the TT but no luck. It disappears into the TT where the hitch meets the body.
Anybody know where it connects inside? I’d rather replace the whole thing for them as opposed to patching it.
I appreciate the help you might be able to give.

Josh

Follow the cable to the trailer. There should be a metal 4 square electrical box mounted on the frame close to the trailer. On a fifth wheel it should be inside the pin box. You should be able to get a new 7 wire cable with the end molded on from a trailer shop or rv dealer. The just wire nut the connection inside the box.
Good luck

Just reread post. If it disappears inside I would look inside any cabinets or under the bed depending on the layout of the yt?. Look under the closest thing mounted to the front of the tt.
