Added a Bidet to the Throne
Hi guys finally did a lot of research and found the perfect Bidet to add. I will try posting some photos and with the help of shark bite connectors was installed complete in less than 30min. No leaks and works like a charm with this slimline model Bidet. Shout out to me if any needs instructions etc in installing one in your rig.

Looks nice, but to be honest the first thing I thought of “that will never work, the dog will turn it into a drinking fountain”!! My grand kids always forget to close the lid and our dog like many helps himself and is smart enough to figure out that lever.

After traveling much of Europe, this can be an item that you don't want to be without.
Some like it some don't.

Even if you ran a hot water line to it, the water would be cold at first, so shock then comfort

I know this thread is from a few years ago but, I want to say Kudos to you. I was thinking of adding a bidet toilet seat and you showed me it would work out great. One of the best upgrades to my camper. No more TP down the black tank. It makes complete sense. I pretty much used the same fittings you used. Took only a few minutes to install. Took our first trip this week and couldn't be happier with it. I used to worry every time I reached for the TP knowing I should only use as minimal as possible. I haven't had to empty and clean the black tank yet, but I know it is going to be so much easier. Thanks for sharing.

I did see a thread somewhere in this forum that the poster added hot-water line and a mixer to the bidet input. However it will be initially cold then warm quickly.

We have a "cold water" one in the RV and at home. In reality, the water is really not cold - it's more than likely room temperature since the water that hits you first is already in the pipes in the bathroom. I've never thought "damn, that's cold!"

Any chance you have a specific part # or link for the T that you used? I really miss my bidet!

Bidet
I used a t that is a shark bite with a shut off valve. If you go to homedepot you will for sure see it. And it’s made for pex 1/2 inch. Hope this helps.

FWIW, I prefer the hand held sprayer. It may not blast everything as clean but it sure is handy rinsing off the residue stuck on the bowl.

Earl; Trust me its rude enough you wont notice the waters cold! My oldest son got one for his home during the great toilet paper shortage because he procrastinated and them couldnt find any TP. We decided to give one a try shortly after him and now I have installed 5 of them in our 2 homes. Our 5th wheel needs one too! You use virtually a fraction of the TP you did before so its all good and you stay way cleaner.
