The chain on ours wraps on the fan blade going down the road. Make sure that switch is off. Motor get's kinda warm when it cant turn.

We have downsized from a 41 ft crossroad lincoln. Had a hard time in state parks getting a site for that size. Thanks in advance for any help with my questions.

Congrats! We love our and I see a lot of camping in it.

And to save you 3 hours of trouble shooting and disassembled fixtures the GFCI on the kitchen island is wired to the fan. Our fan wouldn’t work after not realizing the chain was wrapped around the blades and for 3 hours we tried to figure it out. We sat down on the couch and my wife noticed the GFCI tripped and once we reset it, the fan came on.

Same happened to us. I thought the fan had died. I was checking all the breakers, couldn’t figure it out, until I noticed the GFIC.

Thanks

Thanks for the heads up. I need all the advice I can get. We are currently camping in pigeon forge with the new camper. We really like it. Had to put a night light near door so we could see to go in at night. They should have put a switch near entrance. Overall, I think jayco did great with this layout.

I actually have a motion detecting solar light I hang on oversized paper clip on the entrance assist rail, turns on as I approach.

Your switch for the outside step is next to the upper step on the right side. The light sits in the top of the step storage area.

What campground are you at? And do you recommend that campground? We are heading down there in November.

I have weighed mine on a CAT sales. What exactly are you looking for? Total weight fully loaded for camping, axle weight, dry weight from factory? Weight will change with what ever options you order. Number of awnings, slide toppers, pin box etc.

Buying a Eagles 321RSTS

Thanks for the reply. Was able to find factory dry weight on a unit(11400). Looking for real world pin weight. Was doing my own math adding 1K to the factory weight and then 20% for pin(no gen)

My 321 fully loaded up (including beer) weighs 12100. All tanks empty and no generator. Hitch weight came in at 2620. Hope this helps.

Just another fact about the residential frig, the weight is actually a bit lighter then the norcold 16 cu. ft. We love the residential frig and would never go back. We do not dry camp, all our camping is at RV parks. If you dry camp, the residential frig would not be my choice.

Thanks for the replies. We do dry camp, but a night or two at a time it seems, and then only if we go west. In my neck of the woods, it’s either blazing hot or cold, so campgrounds will be the norm. I’m thinking if I ever went this route, I’d plan on some solar for the roof to augment some generator time. Really love the floor plan.

We did one 300 watt panel MPPT controller 3 years ago.Pretty much care free batteries always full charge! We did install 4 wood screws to anchor panel, sealed screw heads on roof.Ran wires down vent pipe.Very simple I thought the panel would blow off the roof still there.
