Caulking

What do you guys use for caulking around various locations on your rig? Like the basement doors trim? The edge trim in the back? The front cap? Can you use regular silicone caulking on those areas? I know dicor has self leveling and regular. But that's mainly on the roof seams right?

Never use silicone on your rig. For the roof, yes the self levelling Dicor is the stuff to use. For applications on vertical surfaces such as exterior walls, Quad is a good choice, or if you can't find that Geocel Pro Flex. DO NOT USE SILICONE.

The best thing to use on trim is OSI QUAD Sealant, comes in many colors, Depot, Lowes, Menards all sell it. As stated above never use any sealant with silicone, it won't last and nothing will stick to it not even another layer of silicone.

You see, the thing with silicone is, it'll work just fine until it fails. And then, nothing else will stick to it. No matter how much you scrape, you'll NEVER get rid of the residue, and not even silicone till stick where it used to be.

Is there much difference between OSI Quad and OSI Quad Max?

There must be a difference but I don't know, maybe research on OSI website. I found out from a Jayco rep this is the product they used. I have had great success using it on sealant that had pulled loose, as long as its still pretty tight I went right over the old sealant.
