cell phone booster

I am looking for a cell phone booster that will work in my 5th wheel. Where we travel we usually have one bar on the cell phone. Any recommendations?

There are several threads on this subject. Weboost works in most cases for us. Try searching for Weboost and MIMO OR MIFI.

Good luck

A lot of this depends on your carrier. We have great success using VERIZON SERVICE in the OFF-GRID places we like to go to... Using boosters something just amplifies the noise haha...

I also played with a WILSON CRADEL with an outside antenna some years back and it worked great for my 1G/2G earlier Verizon MIFI box... Now all of that is obsolete especially now hearing that the carriers are all going to the higher technology...

Most of the great cell phone service was only found along the major towns and major roadways...

There is change in the winds now coming at the end of 2019 it seems...

Iamshuler what service do you have? I have Verizon and I have a Mifi hot spot through Verizon. When in some locations in Michigan like outside of Traversr Bay I got no Verizon service at all. But with the Verizon MiFi I was able to make web based calls with ease. Also with the MiFi emails and Netflix was no problem.

We've had good luck with Weboost as well. Make sure you separate the antennas far enough. Also it won't make a signal out of nothing. It's not a cell tower but a repeater/booster. So don't expect it to work miracles as it's not capable of that.

Weboost RV 65 is what we use. Not super great if you’re moving quickly but works great when your set up for a while. Works well in low service areas but won’t create signal where there is nothing.

Here is the cell phone signal booster that I use. Go to post #11 for my write-up. It is a Uniden U65 model. DW it TOTALLY happy with it.

We have a Weboost RV, in the few times I have needed it, it takes a poor cell connection and makes it moderate. When we have had no data at all, we can get “some” data for “some” websites.

Don’t think think you will be able to stream movies when you only have 1 bar.

Still, it does help. I put the inside antenna next to a window and the family huddles next to it to check messages and the weather.
