What model?

When do you think they should come on?

Sounds to me like you have water in the sealed switch. The connectors are likely corroded.

So there's a switch in your control panel and lights aren't coming on when you flip it? LED's?

Yes the switch in the control box controls the LEDs underneath the awning the front cap lights are controlled by two external switches beside the pinbox

Sounds like the driver/controller to me, not the switches.

Whay controller? There are two physical switches under the front cap that control the light bars and under cap light.

switch front cap light

we have same switches under front cap and they are protected by a clear soft rubber cover , and I notice that sometimes that cover avoid you to push correctly the inside switche so the lights sometimes seem not working good

If the bulbs are burnt out they are a chore and a half to replace. I just replaced 2 of mine due to the rubber drying out and crackingand I was fearfull that I would get water in the front cap. The replacement bulbs are inexpensive but you need some needle nose pliers to get the wires out and then some lube and or grease to get the new bulbs back in.

Smile Where to buy / part numbers

I know this is an old thread, but where do you buy the LED strips to replace them? Any part numbers? I have an Eagle HT as well and both of my LED light strips are partially or wholly out. Thanks!

Bad switch, one of mine is also bad. If I push it hard and rock it some it comes on.

Thanks for the input, Rock. It’s confusing, though - seems odd that with a bad switch, one of the lights could be partially on. Maybe more likely that water intrusion has ruined the light strips, since the switch is common to both strips?

I will check the switch first, as that will be a TON easier to replace.

Thanks again!

Amazingly this thread pops up now. I have a 2019 EAGLE HT 30.5 and yesterday I hit the front caps light switch under the cap and the LED’s wouldn’t come on. Tried it several times. nada. Went out today and happened to try it again to see if it fixed itself over night and it worked. I’m guessing water in the switch as mentioned before. I turned it on a week or so ago and the both lights would get dim and bright, dim and bright. Not sure that is the switch but I’m going to pull down the switch and check it out. What sealer do y’all use to seal the switch back up when you reinstall?

I think all those leds need X amount of juice to light up and some more than others. Leds are great but the circuit board wiring is what goes out and the leds are fine.
Pull the switch and put the wires together that will tell you switch or led strip. And check your voltage.

The switch wires. Hot one coming in and ground, the led strips should have two one hot one ground. Somewhere both led light strips are connected together. Use a meter and make sure you have good power and ground going to switch. My last awning had some leds dim others bright outers out.
