Front Cap Waxing Question

I have a 2016 Eagle and want to make sure that I'm cleaning and waxing correctly. Is the front cap a painted surface, or is it gel-coat like the rest of sides? Trying to determine what the best wax product would be to use. Meguiars Marine wax seems to be highly rated for gel-coat. But not sure if it would be the best for a painted surface if that is what the cap is.

If is like my Eagle, it is a GEL coat.... Well, mine used to be a GEL coat. In 2012 it started oxidizing and Jayco paid to have the DARK Brown GEL coat sanded down to the fiberglass and then they painted it the same color as the side, at our request.

As for wax... we use 2. In January, we used Meguiar's Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax and in June we use the Mothers California Gold Brazilian Carnauba cleaner wax. Both with excellent results.

I use meguiars express synthetic spray wax. Spray on and wipe off. No white powder residue. Can be used on all surfaces including decals. Bonus is you can spray it on while trailer is still wet to aid in drying. I use it after every wash and the results are great.
