Furnace Not Working
I have the fifth wheel below and the heat went out last night. Has anyone with that model had the heat worked on and if so what kind of a project is it. It looks like it’s insane to get to the heater.

Did you try the reset switch in the furnace? Little switch on the top of it sometimes trips. Cant see what 5th wheel you have but that is what happened to mine.

The pre-purge fan runs then it shuts down. That switch you’re talking about will it kill the entire unit or just the burner assembly.

The reset switch on the side of the furnace kills the whole unit. Sounds like you have an exhaust or ignition tube blockage (spider web, wasp nest etc) or your sail switch is faulty. Could also be the circuit board. As long as you have propane which I’m assuming you’ve checked that, it’s most likely one of those four things. Unfortunately they bury the furnace deep in the basement and make it almost impossible to work on without taking it out.

my hats off to WES Trailers. had no heat with a freeze coming. they said bring it in that morning. showed the tec where the heater was and had no idea how he was going to get it out. i went down the road to get a cup of coffee and when i got back the heater was out, bench tested and a new sail switch was being installed.said if he told me how he did it he’d have to kill me so i let it go. if anyone is on Long Island and needs work done I highly recommend them. (he also said that one was real easy ??????)

I suggest posting that review here: RV Service Reviews
It is a great help for others, especially when you are on the road and need help.

I just tried posting that URL again and it does not work when I put it in here. It works when I open it from my computer so I am guessing something on this site is stopping it. Type in http//www.rvservicereviews.com
