Furnace on while in motion

I am curious if my furnace in my 5th wheel can be running while towing the trailer?

Welcome!

My opinion, not a good idea. Our floor vents are all covered when the slides are in and I really don’t want the heat blasting the bottom of the slide.

YEP... if the vents are covered the furnace would probably shut down due to an overheat condition also.

Yes, it can be ran on the road with no issues. Other than how many floor vents if any are blocked by slides. On my unit, none are blocked by the slides. If one or two is blocked you'd probably be good. If not, like said, it will overheat and trip out the burner until it cools down and then relight. Uses a snap switch to monitor the furnace for overheat.
