Furrion gas oven won't light

We have a 2020 Pinnacle 5th wheel 36KPTS and we can't get the Furrion gas oven to light. The stovetop burners light ok so there is gas there. But when we try to light the oven we get little puffs of blue flame when the igniter sparks but it won't turn on and light the oven burner. All the other gas appliances, furnace, water heater work ok with no problems. Are we doing something wrong? The dealer looked at it and said it's fine. We were not there when they inspected it so we don't know if we are doing something wrong. Has anyone else had this problem?

Are you pushing in on the oven knob? You push in on the oven knob and rotate it until you feel a slight indent, then rotate the igniter. similar to the pilot setting on a gas water heater.

You may have to hold the knob in for a while to get the gas up to the burner.

once it lights, hold it in for about 30 seconds.

Additionally, some spiders like to make nests around the orifice. An old Newmar 5er we had seemed to have that problem on a regular basis

The gas flow rate for the pilot light on the stove is so low that it takes FOREVER for it to light. Even after the stove lights you will need to hold the knob in for 2 to 3 minutes before it lights. You'll think it is not going to light but be patient. You will see it sputter, just keep holding the knob in. Once you see it light the tendency is to release but as dxrobertson stated hold it a little longer. Once you light it the first time then each subsequent time you light the stove it will be 1uicker to light.

Now with all that said if you shut the gas off at the tank for let's say a couple of weeks you will likely have to go through the initial lighting process. Socks but that's been my experience. Good Luck.

yes like they are saying it takes a good time to light.
I don't have the patience, thus my with has to light it.
It does take more than a couple of tries and if you have to change a tank out or turn off gas for any length of time, it starts over again.

Exactly what Radar57 says has been my experience. Just keep holding the igniter in and EVENTUALLY it will light. You'll start to see little brief ignitions and it will stay on at some point. Very frustrating but once you do that it should be much easier until you change tanks or leave the unit unused for awhile. Seems like there should be a better way!
