Georgia Mountain Fall Festival

Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone looking for a great place to visit during the Fall. The Georgia Mountain Fall Festival is during the month of October in Ellijay, GA. It is a week long festival with free entertainment in the Music Hall and all kinds of arts and crafts. The festival is located in a beautiful setting among Rhododendrons and right on a lake with a campground on the lake shore. If you have never been, it is a great place to visit. Only problem is getting a site so you would need to make reservations now. Probably can't get in the lakeside campground as it fills up a year in advance but plenty of other campgrounds close by.

You are right except for one thing. The Georgia Mountain Fair is in Hiawassee, GA not Ellijay.

I know the feeling!! We have been to the Mountain Fair and Fall Festival many times over the years. That is a beautiful part of the country and well worth the trip for fall sightseeing, golf, boating and fishing etc. As you said there are quite a few campgrounds in the area but planning ahead is a must.

Hey Mustang, our reservations begin on October 8th. If you are still there, we will have to drink a cold one. We will be there until the 16th. I will have to look up our site number and get back with you.
