Hitch Problems

Hello all,
I've got a Pullrite #2700, 16k slider that I bought new. I had a 12k but had to upgrade to a 16k since I bought the boss a biger 5ther, anyways. The problem I had was the trigger arm was not allowing me to unhook by hitting the kingpin. I'd have to use a small 3/8" x 5' pole to push the trigger arm about 1/2" forward to unhook. I called Pullrite and explained my problem. The hitch was still under warranty so I asked if they had a Pullrite Rep. close to me. They had a guy (Paul) in OKC which I'm 2 hours from. Paul and I communicated through emails and by phone. Paul drove out to my house watched as I hooked and unhooked my 5ther. He took the hitch head off and rebuilt it with a new rebuild kit. It seams that the original trigger arm was a little shorter in length than the new one in the kit. Paul and I chatted and we don't know if the wrong one was installed during the hitch heads manufacturing time or not. After changing out the trigger arm we hooked and unhooked my 5ther several times and all worked as it should.
I'm my opinion, Pullrite did good and stood by there product and helped a customer out. I will always have a Pullrite Hitch, so I hope this helps anyone wondering what kind of 5th wheel hitch they need. If anyone has any other questions about my situation, just private message me and I'll give you my number.
A Very Happy Pullrite Hitch Owner,
Chris

I had a similar issue and they sent me all the parts to repair it and no charge for anything. I was very happy the way they handled the issue and will never use a different hitch
