Hitching Up

When hitching up, is it okay to leave the rear four jacks down or should they be retracted prior to hitching up?

When I hitch up all my jacks are up, except the front landing legs.

Hitching up with rear jacks down will put a lot of stress on all the jacks so should always lift them.

Can also put A LOT of lateral stress on the rear jacks for when hitching up the RV usually moves back a bit.
