Honda generators, any tips?

I pulled the trigger on two Honda generators that I can run in parallel. Both fired up no worries and are super quiet. We are prepared to set up our boondock eclipse location for optimal viewing.

Any tips? These seem pretty straight forward for keeping the beer cold and the AC on.

Just exercise them every month, try to find ethanol free gas or add some sea foam to the gas to keep the carbs nice and clean and they will last many years.

Consider this -
Generator Ground-Neutral Bonding | No~Shock~Zone

I have the same setup with no issues using Progressive Industries EMS. I get a sustained 26.6 amps from both of them. I use an extended tank system BERG - Works flawlessly.

I get 18-20 hours using the 15k air conditioner.

That's awesome. I'd love to know more about your extended tank setup.

We used those with our fifth wheel... just one for most days, both on heavy use days. Love them!

We let them sit all winter without running - with tanks near empty. Filled with fresh fuel in the spring and they'd fire right up. Great gennys!

Both ran when we needed them, but one of them (the companion) did shut off a few times and when I got home it won't start now.

This how I travel. Fans keep positive pressure flowing to control heat and fumes. Run with the top down and tail gate open.

I have a cord I made that twist locks to generator plugs into my front power inlet.
