I've been trying to find the answer to this also. It's not mentioned in the "Winterizing" section in the owner's manual.
I'm hoping that if I open the pump's isolation valve, the water will drain from the discharge line back through the pump and come out of the main sewer outlet (backwards). I have not tried this yet but it's my only hope. I wouldn't think that the pump is a positive displacement pump and keep the water from draining backwards through it but.....

Go onto the Thetford Sani-con web site and download the manuals. I recall reading how to winterize it in one of those manuals while I was researching it.
