Left Tx and made a stop in Miss a few years ago as the Gulf coast was mashed with an ice storm. Laid over in Ocean Springs Ms for 4 days partially to visit family but also because I10 was closed at the Ala border for 2 days. Last Feb again coming East from Tx had to exit I10 at Gulf Port due to a motorcycle/truck accident that closed the interstate. Down to the coast hwy on into Ocean Springs for another short stay with family.

Worst time on I10 was after Katrina when the Biloxi bridge was out for over 2 years. All E/W local traffic had to go out to I10 to get back and forth. Boy were they glad when the new bridge was completed.
