Is It necessary to level fver between trips

It seems like I have been using the landing gear alot
hooking and unhooking between weekend trips.
The trl pin needs to drop apprx. 6 ins. to level trl..
Is it necessary to level an unhooked active trl?
The storage tanks are always maintained and
the trl is plugged in. We have covered parking. thx.

Only matters if you intend to run the fridge and/or air conditioner.

Then as NewBlackDak said, you need to keep the trailer level to prevent damage to the fridge.

I raise and lower my 5er a lot also. This next winter I'm going to remove each landing gear, check and clean the gears. I'm then going to install a grease fitting so I can lube each gear.

Check the angle of the trailer. Last time I looked at the Dometic fridge instructions it said it could be operated at up to 10deg off level. That is quite a bit. When traveling ours is not level for much of the travel since I do not unhook much and we are nose high by about 6". Never had an issue with this trailer or our previous one which was also nose high the same amount. I think ours was 3deg.
