Keyless Entry Lock

Has anyone installed keyless entry lock on a 2021 Pinnacle.

If so, what model did you install. How is it working.

We did. Used the Bauer Products lock. Had it for over a year and works great. As a side note, we have full body paint and it covered everything just like the factory lock so no unpainted area shows.

I guess I'll be different. We have the RVLock compact version. It comes with a FOB and has worked well for 3 years. It does require 4 AA batteries but they have lasted a whole season.

When you order the Bauer bluetooth lock, tell them the numbers on your RV key, so when it arrives, you can unlock your door with the same key you already have. The Bauer bluetooth lock also has an app for your phone. You can manually lock/unlock or check the status using your phone... more helpful is if the phone app is running, the door will automatically unlock as you approach which makes it really handy when your coming home with groceries.
Best lock.

Best lock.

Got a new phone a few weeks ago, and the app refuses to pair with it. It sees the lock on the app, it but something is off. I spent a good 45 minutes with the company before she gave up and said I needed support at the next level. There were supposed to call me next day, and nothing but crickets. I had forgotten about it, better make a note.

I had the same thing happen and I figured it out: Your camper can only pair with a finite number of phones (4?) and over the couple years I maxed it. The solution was to clear all the stored phones and start over.

Here is how to clear all paired:
Navigate to the "PA" function on the JAYCOMMAND CONTROLLER display Press and hold the EXT button until the number 1 scrolls across the JAYCOMMAND CONTROLLER display. The JAYCOMMAND NODE is now clear of all connected devices.

Now you should be able to pair

Installed the lock today. Very simple install. Works great.

Thanks for all the input. Wish I would have followed Stan&Sharon advice. Ordering for the proper key code. I did not do this.

Was able to swap the dead bolt lock barrel from the old to the new. In order to maintain the original key. Was not able to do this on the handle lock. Had to remove the 2 do not remove stickers to do the barrel swap.

I installed the RVLock. It was a direct fit. Easy to install and reliable.

Don’t know how I did without it all this time.
