Lighting

Good afternoon wherever you may be. Can someone tell me how these ceiling light fixtures are removed to change the bulb? 2021 Pinnacle 37MDQS.

That looks like the light over my bedroom pillow. If I remember correctly, it required lots of elbow grease with a counter clockwise twist.

It looks like they are LED lights. If they are you will need to replace the entire light. No bulbs on LED. As someone else stated, the cover will come off by twisting it off.

As stated above, most likely it’s an LED fixture and the whole fixture is replaced. I guess I’m lucky to own an older unit, our lights were 100% incandescent. I replaced all of them with LED’s which are cheap but seem to fail fairly often. I buy “bulbs” on eBay and always get spares. The last batch of replacements for the halogen bulbs (BRIGHT) don’t seem to have a long lifetime. But for $1-$2 each I’ll keep throwing them in.

is that light controlled by the switch underneath the cabinet? Just making sure you know there is a switch for it....at least on my unit that is how it works.

I believe the cover pops off to expose the screws holding it in.(center push button type) Like others have said, the whole lamp needs replaced.

Yes. it is a switched light. The switch is where the tv pops up and it controls two over head lights. One over the Tv and this one over the microwave.

Bright Lights

The lights in my X23E are very bright. Wanting to install a dimmer switch. Are the lights dimmable ??

just checking again, because I have one switch by the TV for the light over the TV and another switch under the cabinet to the left of the microwave for the light over the microwave.

Learjet. OK now I'm going to have to double check this. I had the coach at my house for some fixes and I thought both lights went on when I flicked the switch. I inadvertently left them on overnight and yesterday morning found the one off over the microwave. Maybe it was never on. I'll report back on this later today and check for a switch under the cabinet. Your set up makes sense.

Learjet. Thank you for chiming in. That switch is where you said it was. Including an outlet. All is good and working. This SoCal desert heat sometimes gets the best of us. On top of that I'm still learning about this coach. Thank you to all who contributed. I at least know how to remove the lights if needed.

They are dimmable, with the correct switch specifically for LED lights. Here's a couple I found.

The cover does not pop off, it needs to be twisted off. They are on very tight but they will twist off.

Agree, they are way too bright. Here is a previous thread on that topic and what I did to solve it for just a few dollars. I got 'full orange' and used three layers.

That answers why it was a bear to get off. Never thought of twisting the stupid thing. Thanks RipinSC!

Same as ours, just put a rubber jar opener to grip glass push up and turn. They grind a bit, but once turned to the opening, they drop down, put back in reverse order. Very easy. Have fun. Takes a little elbow grease/pressure to push up and turn, when putting back be sure they lick in, or you will have broken glass.
