Looking for Pinnacle Owners

I hope I am doing this right, I am new to camping and this forum.

We own a 2018 Pinnacle 36FBTS we purchased new in April and are looking for other owners that can help answer basic questions about the unit and common sense questions that we don't know.... ..Being new to camping.

We have camped about 7 times now and I still feel like I will never learn everything about this camper. The owners manual is so vague and assumes you know something about campers (we do not).

So if you don't want a lot of dumb questions you may not want to reply .

Thanks in advance,

Randy

Welcome! I own a 38FLSA and agree the owners manual is a good fire starter! This site and Jayco tech support are very helpful! I, too, am new to RVing and figuring things out as I go. Best wishes! And the only question that is dumb is the one not asked!

Thanks - I am so confused about the whole winterizing thing. I have a residential refrigerator, tankless water heater, and washing machine to consider as if just the normal process wasn't confusing enough!!

I am a full timer so winterizing is not an issue for me. If you haven't yet, do a search on this thread for winterizing or, you'll find, youtube is a valuable resource!

We have a 2016 FBTS with the Frigidaire reefer. I found "dummy" water filters- they don't have an element in them- on-line for it so I put that in and run the anti-freeze thru it so as not to ruin a good filter. I actually got 2 of them and the other is for spring when I sanitize the system with the Clorox mix. This has worked well for me. I can't help you with the tankless heater or the washer.

They are on the Frigidaire website and also on ebay. The Frigidaire is model # 242294402 and the ebay product id is 590239223. Of course the ebay price is cheaper. Do a google search for water filter bypass and a bunch will come up. Our filter is a Frigidaire ULTRAWF make sure yours is the same.

38 FLSA. I put a dummy in when I winterize, change back to a normal filter every spring. Only issue we have is the controllers for the remote slide controls shoots a fuse every now and then. Love our Pinnacle..
