mattress weight in a Pinnacle?

We have a terrible king size mattress in our 2019 Pinnacle. We want to swap it out and put in a Tempur-pedic king in its place. The mattress we love is 139 pounds. Can the platform and. more importantly, the struts handle that weight or should we keep looking? I apologize is this has been answered somewhere. It is very difficult for this senior to navigate around the forums and threads. Thank you for your time.

We Swapped mattress to a foam based queen instead of the crappy Simmons king. No issues with platform or the struts.

If the struts are not strong enough
You can move the mounting point to help them Moving the strut straighter makes them stronger to hold up

OR

Move up to a stronger strut. They are sold bt weight they support in lbs and length.
Downside is stronger strut may flip up during travel

I also added more screws and bracing under ours to help the plywood

The struts probably not ours didn't when we cut down the platform and got a new queen size. But the platform has no problem with the added wieght

The wife and I must be odd or easy to please. We love the mattress that came oi our 36FBTS. Don’t remember the brand but we sleep pretty good.
