Maxfan in Northpoint opens by itself?

I noticed that the maxfan in the kitchen of my 2019 377 opens by itself when shore power is turned on/first applied? Does anyone else have this happen?\

Seems problematic. I know the thing has a rain sensor and is supposed to close automatically if it rains but I don't trust technology that much. If the power blinks at the RV Park the fan will open.

Thanks

Ours does not open by itself. That said, I’ve got two Fanmate covers on order for the two Maxxfans in the unit that will clip in to existing brackets on a the roof so rain won’t be a concern. Also have a Maxxair II cover coming for the loft vent. Got all three in ‘smoke’ so they’ll match the colors on the camper while still letting light in...
