Smile New Jayco 321RSTS - Thanks All

Would like to thank so many of you for all the information you provided. We brought home a Jayco 321rsts. It was a 540 mile trip from dealer to home. I had read many of the forums on my trailer and truck combo. I never had pulled a fifth wheel or used a gooseneck ball. My truck is a 2021 2500HD 6.6 Duramax, added Sumo springs. Rated for 3086 payload with 18,500 tow rating. Did all the math before purchase thanks to help from this forum. Reese goose box and B&W ball worked like a charm. Not sure how tight I can turn but still have back windshield after backing into a very tight spot. Very happy with full setup. Truck only has 5,000 miles but got 9 MPG driving 65 from Wichita Falls to Baton Rouge. Big thanks to all as this forum and everyone's experience helped make this a pleasant experience.

Glad you had a safe trip. We have 3 years on our 321 with minimal problems. Its our winter home and have really enjoyed the floor plan, about the only thing we did was put more shelving in the " coat closet" and use it for another pantry. Have fun and enjoy life!!

Congratulations! You certainly did your homework, and I think you’re a great example to others that all the up front planning and number crunching makes the actual purchase and ownership much more enjoyable!

We love our 321RSTS, and always feel melancholy when we put her back in storage after a trip! Enjoy your adventures!

Congrats! We bought our in 2019 and love the floor plan also but our now have been to the dealer for about 6 months now getting warranty work done it was not good but hopefully we will get it back soon.

The front cap had to be repainted and the back wall was coming apart so they had to reorder a new back wall not sure how how they going to fix that. You do have a good match you will have no problem with your setup.

If you ever want to do some mods let us know, I install an washer & dryer by myself it was one of the best mod I did.

Traded in this gas truck for a 6.7L But still love our 321RSTS, and like so many, ours did spend over 6 months in for repairs just after the purchase. The first year, the dealership had it more than we did!

Edit: This picture was at the dealership, Camping World in Tucson, the day we got it back from the warranty shop. Wish I would have noticed the ding in the back corner where they had knocked the trim off and scratched the paint real bad. I was in too much of a hurry and screwed myself!

Great to see new 321RSTS owners! These photos are our first time seeing 'real' 321's too (not just brochures). We hope ours arrives early July. The photos are terrific and show how lovely the camper is. Thanks. Happy trails to you(us) all.

That is an awesome setup, and your truck match the 5th wheel, so glad it went well for you we should get our back soon they are repainting the cap but they said that the pollen keep flying around that they can't get it done, we have trees here that certain time of the year we have these little stuff that fly around the whole state, bummer but hope it stop flying around soon.

They have an outside painting place that they do all of there painting it just have a cover over head and some side wall that come down halfway.

You're will love it we love our floor plan I have it work out that I have done a lot of mod to it that we love it. I install a washer & dryer in ours because once or twice a year we go out for anywhere from 4 to 14 days at a time, we don't like those shady laundry mats so I did it by myself.

Love the 321RSTS. If our local dealer hadn’t been aholes, we’d have one now. Unfortunately they highballed us on a leftover 2020, and we bought our current rig instead. Their loss, we had cash in hand. Instead, that rig is still on their lot. The 321 checked virtually all the boxes, and we were/are Jayco fans. It’s a great layout and rig. Enjoy!

They are very nice, so can you go out of state to find one?

Nice setup, are your front jacks down a little?

My wife didn’t like the exterior color of the ‘21’s. So they were a no go. We looked, but that rig was the only that met our criteria after an extensive search. In the end, I’m very happy with the rig we bought.

The 344MKS look pretty nice the floor plan is almost the same as the 321RSTS it just the stairs is opposite, and that's the main thing to get something that work for you and both of you like great.

Yep. Actually like the stairs on the opposite side now that we’ve used it a bit. The two rigs are so similar, it was really minor things between the two that we had for trade offs.

Now that I think about it my wife and I look at that same floor plan but at the time we didn't have the money and we seen the Jayco 321RSTS after and felt in love with the 321RSTS.

Hard not to. It’s a really great couples rig and laid out very well.

Big1, yes the landing gear is down just a little. But for where we go they stay down at that setting. Truck sits more than high enough that even backing into out driveway that is a steep downhill slope, they never touch the ground. Bad habit maybe, and IF I ever had enough time off from work, they would get pulled up to go down the road for any distance.

We bought our 321rsts right before buying a Polaris Ranger Crew 6 seater. Now we are debating on going with a toy hauler!! Hahaha.
