New Pinnacle owner - 1st stupid question
How do I tell if I indeed have the thermopane windows I ordered. Did not make a note of that on my PDI and forgot to ask. I don't see any special instruction manuals in all of the stuff they gave me. The windows all have the "kinro" stickers on them, but I can't tell if they are the insulated version.
Thanks!

If you look at the edges of the glass you should see what looks like black silicone caulk between the panes. There really isn't very much space between the panes perhaps 1/8 inch or less.

When we would talk to salespeople at RV Dealers, they always would hold a small lighter in front of them, if you see two flames in the window, they are Dual Pane windows.
All of our Dual Pane windows have Kinro stickers on them, another fine Lippert product.

I read somewhere that insulated windows can not be crank out types, only sliding.
Don't know if that is true but if you look at the edge of the glass you should see 2 panes of glass at the seal instead of one.

Thanks for the replies - they all worked. It's definitely double-paned.

36 REQS. Quite an upgrade compared to our old travel trailer - 2003 Open Road by Pilgrim. We bought thru Indiana RV Connection/Richardson's RV (SoCal). Very straight-forward experience. On time and as-ordered. And a great price. Now I just need to find time between work and my kids swim meets to go camping.

I have heard the same thing too about not being able to have the crank out type windows on Dual Pane windows.
Guess that only applys to the old stype clamp type windows, the newer Frameless windows all crank out whether Dual Pane or not.
I have never seen a slide type window on the Frameless windows.

Good choice.
We ordered ours from Richardson's. We visited them in Menifee late last Oct. and in Jan. called them when our local dealer would not deal. Did everything over the phone and they have been great to work with.
Best of everything with your new Pinnacle...can't wait to pick up ours.

Congrats on the new Pinnacle 36 REQS!! How exciting for you!
My DW and I are recent retirees and have a 2012 31RLTS coming from Jayco with the PDI scheduled for March 8. The wait for it seems tougher than when we were expecting the birth of our children over 30 years ago!
