Hello from southern Colorado,
My husband and I are buying a '04 Designer 37RLQS. This will be our first RV. We will be using it to live in while building our new home in Utah. We appreciate any advice for 1st timers!
Thanks and God Bless

You might want to research managing the black tank while permanently parked. Most make the mistake of just running the pipe to the sewer connection and leaving it open. Unfortunately, this leads to a buildup of "solids" in the black tank.
Also, unless you have a tankless water heater showers are going to be a bit shorter.

Welcome from SoCal, I’m a first timer with one season now under the belt. This forum is a wealth of information. No question is a stupid one, we were all stupid at one time, some of us still
Welcome aboard! How's is the winter where you'll be setup?
May want to order up a large propane tank, or you'll be making lots of trips to get more gas.
Depending on the weather where you are at. You'll probably want to skirt your new home, and address the water connection. You can buy a heated water hose.
