Opening slides on 2016 pinnacle

Just have to ask , we have 2016 36fbts pinnacle we already have had our dealer do the out rigger braces that were bending, dealer did a great job replacing them with much heavier braces, have not had any issues with the slide ever since except one other time which turned out to be a loose ground on the battery. Every time I open or close the slide I hold my breath, i always hole the button in after opening or closing and count to five making sure motors stay in sync . Just wondering if this normal, but slide just seems slow and seems like it labors , still goes in and out, just makes me nervous. I know book says to level first using our auto leveling system, but when talking to our service manager at the dealer he says they never use the auto level , just opens them up as long as it's on level ground . He telling me to open slides up first as long as you are one level ground then use auto level, says that the slides are installed at the factory without auto level system . What are your thoughts? Is this just normal operation of the schwintec

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.
