Pinnacle FBTS Slide Covers Sticking

Hello all

Has anyone experienced their slide covers not retracting when pulling in the slide.
Does anyone have a fix

Did u open up the awning covers? Had to open mine several times to clean out leaves and tree nuts.

Actually this is the slide cover on the door side that sticks,

If u have the same slide awnings as I do they have a metal cover that the material rolls up into. That metal cover unboltes and lifts up. One Allen screw on each end and in the middle a clip slide u push over one way to unlock

OK thanks never removed cover but will give it a try

Just google carefree slide awning material replacement. U fill find u tube video on how to open the metal cover to remove and replace awning material. I love the cover since it protects the material but it catches leaves and what else falls from the trees.

I have the same toppers with the metal covers and the bed room slide hangs up almost every time. I removed the cover and cleaned. There was very little debris and it still hangs up. I am also looking for a fix
