Exclamation Pinnacle tire rub recall ?

Hello - This is the first time posting something on this forum. Let me say that my computer skills leave alot to be desired.(I still can't program my VCR.) I am not new to rving, having owned 4 different new units since 2007, the latest being a 2018 Pinnacle 37MDQS which I bought new in July 2017. I like many of you have gone thru worthless dealers (breaking more that they fixed, countless delays in warranty repairs etc. But that is not the reason for this post. I go on this site regularly, looking at posts and answers and have gained valuable information here.
Now the issue:
I have watched the posts regarding the recall on 2017 Pinnacle with the tires rubbing the slideout. I have a 2018 that has shown the same problems. I noticed in November 2019, while working on a broken kitchen slimrack slideout motor and harness, the left two tires had rubbed on the kitchen slide floor bottom, rubbing off the black plastic weather covering and starting to dig into the plywood floor of the slideout. Luckly, the tires at this point do not show any wear signs. I believe this is the issue with the 2017s. (Mine was built June 21, 2017.) I have called Jayco and have not heard back as of yet. I am wondering what if anything Jayco has done to fix your units, or what is proposed fix for this issue. Each of my rub spots are approx 4" in length. I believe, without some correction, this has the potential for a very serious or fatal accident.
My unit is scheduled to be picked up this August and returned to the factory to fix the ever growing fiberglass sidewall crack issue. Mine started in September 2019 and in one day cracked 7 inches on the lower front bedroom wall.
Safe to say, my recreation vehicle has turned into a aggravation vehicle!!
Thank you for your time, and happy camping. Stay SAFE.
I will try at some point to post pictures.

Call back to Customer service. Don't let this slip by especially if yours is going back for another problem.

Call Jayco and don't let them call you back! Stay on the line and wait for a customer service rep. This takes at least 20-40 minute wait on hold. Don't give up. Stay on the line. Once you get a rep they will request pictures sent to customerservice@ jayco.com. You can send them yourself.
Once they are sent give them a day or two then same routine on the phone wait for a customer service rep get the same rep on the phone if you can.
I know this is time consuming but you will get thru and they will give you answers.
The bigger issue is there are a limited number of customer reps.. They are super busy! You want them to deal with your issue.. be calm, be polite but don't go away.
They know you pay their wages but they are just overwhelmed.
We got our slide fixed at the factory on our way home from Florida last year. The above worked for us! Frustrating yes. Worthwhile? Slides working great a year later never a hiccup.
Satisfied customers have to be persistent to get service. The same reps deal with the dealer warranty issues as well

My 2017 North Point was doing the same thing. When they took in in for the crack repair they replaced the 7000lb springs with 8000lb springs and wet bolt kits. No more rubbing.

Jayco called me this morning and I e-mailed pictures (with help of grown daughter) to them. They said they have not had problems with 2018s. They are going to look into my issue. This was the same person who I dealt with in the sidewall crack problem. He was very pleasent to work with. I'll keep you posted as things develop.

Side note: They said in the 2017 Pinnacle issue, Lippert contacted Jayco telling them there was problems with some Lippert supplied (made in China, poor quality steel) in the springs and Jayco issued the recall to check all. They also said the problem appears not to be as widespread. In 2018, Jayco switched to Dexter axles and springs.

Thank you all for your replies.

Camp Safe.
