Pinnacle walk in shower

What experience has anyone had with the new walk in shower? We have heard of water leaking from the track but wondering if they are just seeing water sitting in the track that eventually drains back into the shower. Any observations would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bill

We love the walk-in shower! It's bigger than a lot of showers you see in homes. We have no water that leaks outside of the track. When you open the door after taking a shower, it pushes the water out of the track into the base of the shower. It's also very easy to clean. I like the material they used for the surround.

Our shower track is fine with no leaks. the track end is cut at an angle such as the outer track wall is flush to the back wall and caulked with silicone so that it does not leak out but rather drains into the shower basin.

We did notice that the upper glass- that which sits on top of the lower half-wall- is situated so that any water running down the edge of that windowsill will drain off the end of the sill outside of the lower shower and on to the floor. I glued in a piece of plastic block to divert water to drain inside the shower.

The other hack was to add a pull-handle to the edge of the pocket door so that you do not need to squeeze your fingers in to the wall to pull it out.

We love our rig.

Ours leaked the first time it was used. Turns out there was no caulk. Yeah I know I should have checked it first. Put a bead on there and no issues since. Great shower!

My shower has leaked for months. There are several locations it has leaked, the latest appears to be on the back wall, then from what I can tell it runs behind the fake tile wall along the tub and appears to come out by the sink….. still trying to figure out how to seal this one….. anyone else have this happening?

But thanks for the wedge idea…. It is better than my solution of leaving the nose slightly lower to not drain that direction. :-)

shower leak

My 2021 36kpts shower also leaked onto the floor from behind the sink

It's at the dealer now and that is one of the few defects found during the maiden voyage.

I had a little water on the floor just outside the door and attributed it to the lack of silicone along the track that the lower glass slides in. It was where it meets the wall where the showerhead is. Look all along that area and you will find in their haste, that they missed a few areas. Once done, no more leaks. Oh, we absolutely love this shower.
