Power cord problem

We are getting ready to leave and power cord stopped retracting about 4 feet to go. We pulled it out a bit and motor worked again and stopped. Doesn’t appear twisted. Is there a manual over ride? Can we pull out cord completely and just disconnect it?

You cannot disconnect the cord.

You might try unrolling it all way out and try to retract it again.
That worked for me once before.

It probably needs replaced. Mine was replaced before warranty was up.

Someone on here was able to just replace motor instead of entire new cord and motor.

So there’s no way to retract it manually?
I think I may buy a 30 foot 50 amp cord and use that to salvage my trip and have the motor repaired when I get home.

The 50 amp cord is probably a good idea. I have one also.
Yeah at least that way you can do your trip.
Good luck

Were you able to get a cord and still go on your trip?
