Rooftop A/C leaking refrigerant

Hello, got a bit of a head scratcher for y'all. I just went up to the roof today to blow it off and I noticed dried pink residue trails from both my front and rear air conditioners which tells me they are leaking refrigerant. The frustrating thing is that both ACs are still blowing cold air and the leak is infrequent enough that it has time to dry.

Does anyone know what would cause an intermittent leak on two relatively new ACs? (FYI the trailer is a 2020 model year, the rear AC is a 30,000 BTU dometic, and the front AC is a 15,000 BTU dometic). The only cause I could think of is they are overheating due to high heat (105+ deg Fahrenheit days) and running constantly (just during the day) and the high pressure is forcing coolant out somewhere.

Thoughts and recommendations would be appreciated.

That's from the condensate water probably. If it was from the refrigerant it would be oily.

Doesn't sound like refrigerant to me. Algae, soap, wax?

Your Freon would evaporate as soon as it hit the outside air, except the compressor oil like Grumpy mentions. There shouldn't be anything pink in the ACs.

I read online that R-401a refrigerant is pink, hence my concern, but from the other comments it sounds like I might be okay.

It's hard to tell because it was dry. I guess if it was oily it wouldn't be dry.

The cylinder color is pink/rose not the refrigerant. Refrigerant cylinders are different colors to identify the type.

R410a comes in a pink jug. It is clear/transparent . Unless someone has added access ports then added leak detection dye to both units that pink stuff isn't refrigerant.

The pink is from pink slime mold in the unit's internal condensate pan. It is common in commercial coolers and ice machines.. Should be harmless, but if the mold accumulates around the drain port, condensate water could back up and leak inside. There are drain treatment tablets available that prevent mold and algae growth.

Thanks for the advice. I'll pull the cover this weekend and see if I see any slime/mole accumulation.
